"You're never going to know if you can fly until you leave the nest." There is no better way to describe my move to teaching the game of golf full time than that. After almost nine years in the comfort and community that the private club setting offered I have made the jump to striking out on my own to help golfers of all abilities and aspirations reach their goals.
I am both excited and slightly terrified about what this new venture will bring. I've always had a passion and excitement for helping the players I've worked with improve their games. It brings a genuine smile to my face to see their face light up when they hit that one shot they've always dreamed of hitting. I do little fist pumps and dances when I get a message saying they've just had a personal best score. I now have the opportunity to help many more people pursue that pure strike, personal low round, or simply enjoying the game of golf more.
If you or anyone you know has been struggling to make progress with their game or would just like a new perspective - I am here for you. I believe in three things when it comes to golf instruction:
Simplifying the game & swing so that it is easier to understand and enjoy.
Helping my players get better. Making people worse at golf is bad for business.
Educating my players on why we are making the changes that we make so that they understand the process and can take full ownership of their unique swing.
Stop accepting that your game is as good as it's going to get. "Good enough" isn't good enough. Let's find out how good you can get.
