How Do You Prepare To Play In Tournaments?

Do you find it hard to pull the trigger on the first tee at your Club Championship? Maybe you're a high school player looking to make next year your best yet and you're willing to put the work in over the summer to make sure you're ready. Perhaps you've got dreams of playing in a TXGA or USGA event and don't know the best steps to prepare for your qualifier.

As far as tournament preparation goes - many players are left to figure it out on their own. I know that when I was developing as a player - back in my junior high and high school days - I wish that I had had someone to help me learn the nuances of getting ready to play in a golf tournament. It would have drastically improved my performance in tournaments and changed the way I view tournament play.

Not having a game plan for each and every tournament round is setting yourself up for less than optimal performance. "Failing to prepare is preparing to fail" and all that. If you're a player that doesn't know where to start when it comes to getting your game in shape for tournament play I am here to help. In my "Tournament Preparation Program" players will be asked to take full ownership of their game and invest time and energy into taking their preparation to the next level.
